The foundation of our company dates back to 1963, when our family first established a tire retail business in Wong Wian Yisipsong Karakadakhom area under the name Bangkok Motor Tyres Trading Co Ltd. The business later expanded into the import and distribution of equipment for tire shops, suspension repair shops, and wheel service centers (Wheel Service Equipment).
One of the most popular products of that era was the BEAR wheel alignment machine, widely recognized by its iconic yellow bear sign welcoming customers at many tire and alignment shops across Thailand.
In 1990, the second generation of the family founded Kitcha Advance Technology Co., Ltd., expanding our product lines to include hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and air-conditioning service equipment.
During that period, both the global community and Thai society began paying greater attention to environmental responsibility. The use of unleaded fuel increased, and campaigns were launched to reduce and eliminate the use of CFC R-12 refrigerants that harm the ozone layer. Kitcha’s products were therefore well positioned to contribute meaningfully to these environmental efforts.
The name “Kitcha” was chosen in honor of our late father, Mr. Kitcha Tantisuwannana, the founder of Bangkok Motor Tyres Trading Co Ltd. His children adopted his name for the company as a tribute to his legacy and outstanding business vision.
With our strong roots and hands-on experience in tire shops and automotive repair, we have developed a deep understanding of our customers’ needs. Our tools and equipment are carefully selected to enhance work efficiency, speed, and convenience. Measurement and diagnostic tools help users identify problems more accurately and effectively.
Today, although the distribution of automotive tools and service equipment remains our core business, we continue to operate an automotive service under the name KITCHA Auto Check Point. We provide vehicle inspection and maintenance services using modern diagnostic tools such as ZENITH/G-Scan OBDII scanners, Carbon Zapp fuel injector cleaning and testing systems for both gasoline and diesel common-rail engines, Leitenberger compression and cooling system pressure testers, Kooltec KT-007 air-conditioning servicing machines for flushing and compressor oil replacement, exhaust gas analyzers, and many other advanced tools.
This service center represents the true foundation of our growth. It also serves as a real-world testing ground for the tools and equipment we distribute, allowing us to gain in-depth knowledge of their operation, identify potential issues, and use this experience to continually improve our after-sales service for customers.
Recognizing that these tools are essential to our customers’ livelihoods, we place great importance on after-sales service and maintenance. Our technical specialists are always ready to provide operational guidance, and our service technicians are fully equipped with spare parts to ensure quick and effective repairs.
We fully acknowledge that technical support and after-sales service are challenging to perfect for every customer. While we may not yet have reached the ideal level we aspire to, this only drives us to continuously study, improve, and develop our services to better meet customer expectations.
